What the actual hell? I am all for keeping your significant other happy, and I hope there’s a lot of context here that we aren’t seeing, but wow...

That seems like far too low a price and agreed.

Just there for comedic effect, I suspect. And that is cheap. You could probably get a grand or more for the wheels/tires alone.

If this is a real ad, then it's worth far less to Karen than $2500.

It’s also helpful that the truck is part of our joint history.

That is beautiful! I hope it runs as long as you're married, and that you're married at least as long as it runs.

Some people are controlling, jealous, and selfish like that.
I friend of mine told me about a woman she know who lost her husband to a heart attack. He left a pretty substantial inheritance behind for her. She could have spent the rest of her life comfortably in the house they built and never needed to earn a dime.
She did re-marry and the guy she married was legit homeless when they met. After they were married he spent all her money, torn the barn her husband built, and... this is the worst part by far, made her kill her two prizes Clydesdales. Why? Because “they were too expensive” in reality this new guy just wanted to get rid of every trace of her former husband. Now 10 years later he finally let her get horses again. She has two beautiful Friesians a mother and her Colt. The mom’ s shoulders were at least 6ft high.
Seeing them blew my mind as mych as this story. With any luck these new horses will trample the new husband.

In the odd chance this is real, the title will still be under his name and she won’t be able to sell it without him signing off on it. When she presents him with a buyer for the car , he can use it as grounds for divorce.
....but it’s very much fake.

I admit, it is entirely tempting to contact the people involved and ask them if it’s just a joke.

Could it be a coincidence that a seller from Bastrop Tx now has a pair of 97 M3's for sale on racingjunk ?....

Hmm, Karen isn’t trying to sell it for him, so I don’t know.
I’m trying to remember where I’ve seen pics of this car before. That “foam party” tag on the extinguisher valve is damn familiar.
